KB5083725

Microsoft has released cumulative update KB5083725 (Build 28020.1863) for Windows 11, version 26H1. Canary Channel users will now receive updates for Windows 11, version 26H1 (Build 28020), which is activated on the basis of Windows 11, Version 26H1 (Build 28000) using the feature enablement package KB5073122 (Feature Enablement).

Builds in the Canary Channel do not correspond to a specific Windows version. The channel is intended for previewing the latest changes in the Windows operating system at early stages of the development cycle. Experimental builds are released immediately after they are created at Microsoft with limited documentation, without thorough validation, and may be unstable. Some of the changes being tested in the Canary Channel will never be released, while others may appear in future Windows releases when they are ready.

This update includes a small set of general improvements and fixes aimed at improving system stability and overall quality of experience for Windows Insider Program participants.

Installation via Windows Update: go to Settings > Windows Update and click Check for updates. A computer restart will be required to complete the installation.
