Microsoft has released cumulative update KB5095132 (Build 26220.8764) for Windows 11 version 25H2, intended for insiders on the Beta channel. The main innovation of the build is the introduction of a unified update mechanism that synchronizes the installation of drivers, .NET platform, and firmware with the monthly quality update, so users will need only one reboot per month. Additionally, the developers expanded language support for voice access and improved the rendering of the Mongolian font, as well as fixed a bug where Outlook could stop responding to the close button.
- Unified update mechanism. A new approach is being introduced that reduces the number of reboots. Initially, driver, .NET platform, and firmware updates are synchronized with the monthly quality update — thus requiring only one reboot per month.
- Voice access. Voice access now supports Portuguese (Portugal), Portuguese (Brazil), and Korean (South Korea) languages.
- Fonts. Improved shaping and rendering of the Mongolian Baiti font for more accurate and uniform text output, enhancing the quality of Mongolian script rendering.
- Outlook bug fix. Fixed an issue from last week where Outlook was not responding to the close button.
To install update KB5095132 (Build 26220.8764), you need to go to the Settings menu, select the Windows Update section, and click the Check for updates button. A computer restart is required to complete the installation.
